RECYCLING PROCESS
what is the purpose of the certification?
The RecyClass Recycling Process Certification aims at recognising plastic recycling process/es for pre-consumer and post-consumer waste operating at a site.
This certification allows recyclers to demonstrate the traceability of plastics recycling and transparently communicate the origin of the waste. It represents the point of origin for the chain of custody of recycled plastics. The certificate provides trust to all plastics value chain actors for a continuous increase in the use of recycled plastics.
The Audit Scheme requirements are aligned with the EN 15343:2007 and ISO 22095:2020 standards.
