Certification bodies
RecyClass Certifications and Letter of Compatibility are issued by third party Certification Bodies. Please get in touch with a relevant Certification Body to get certified.
As reported in the Recyclability Methodology, the Certification Scheme developed by RecyClass offers three types of recyclability assessments: Design for Recycling Assessment, Recyclability Rate Assessment, and Letter of Compatibility. As the Recyclability Rate audit evaluates the recyclability in practice, the Certification bodies are recognized for a specific geographical area where they possess the knowledge of local waste management systems, allowing them to deliver this country-specific Certification. This geographical limitation applies only to the Recyclability Rate Assessment, whereas the other assessments are valid for Europe and can be delivered by any Certification Body.
