RecyClass Science behind Recyclability: Unlocking challenges in PET recycling
In 2024, RecyClass launched its Recyclability Evaluation Protocols for PET bottles and trays to promote high standards in PET recyclability across the value chain. During this webinar, we dived into these protocols, as well as the key results and insights of continuous testing campaigns on PET packaging.
Among other topics, we presented new criteria set by RecyClass for qualifying PET bottles based on colour, and its implications for recyclability, together with the primary obstacles faced in enhancing the quality of recycled PET.
